SUMMARY:2nd PhD and ECI meeting in Thessaloniki (Greece)
DESCRIPTION:Dear EUIMWP participants\, \nAs you may know\, the MC approved to postpone the 2nd PhD and ECI meeting until September 9th\, 2019\, one day before the beginning of the Training School “Emerging technologies for 5G networks”\, organised by Dr. Chris Vagionas and his group in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (http://winphos.web.auth.gr/). Both events (2nd PhD and ECI meeting and Training School) will take place\, thus\, in Thessaloniki\, and will be organised by this group. \nThe tentative agenda for the 2nd PhD and ECI meeting is as follows: \nMonday\, Sep 9th\n09:00 – 09:15 Welcome to PhD and ECI participants by ECI Manager\n09:15 – 10:45 PhD and ECI presentations (session I)\n10:45 – 11:15 Coffee break\n11:15 – 12:45 PhD and ECI presentations (session II)\n12:45 – 13:45 Lunch\n13:45 – 15:30 Round table I: challenges and solutions\n15:30 – 16:00 Coffee break\n16:30 – 18:30 Round table II: collaborations \nAs a reminder\, ECI (Early Career Investigator) is defined as an individual who is within a time span of up to 8 years from the date they obtained their PhD/doctorate (full-time equivalent). This call is addressed\, thus\, to PhD students and ECI participants. \nThe Action will cover the travel\, accommodation and meals expenses of the eligible participants\, according to COST rules (please have a look to the COST Vademecum\, downloadable here: https://www.cost.eu/cost-actions/cost-actions-networking-tools/). \nThe participants from IPC (International Partner Countries) are welcomed to apply\, but with no possibility of reimbursement.
